Materials and methodsThe human CRC cell lines SW480 and HCT116 and the mouse CRC line MC38 were purchased from the Cell Bank of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China). Cells were passaged three times and then cryopreserved. In each experiment, cells were cultured under standard culture conditions for 3–5 days after resuscitation until the cell density was 50–70%.

AbstractTauopathies are a group of age-related neurodegenerative diseases with a molecular hallmark of the prion-like propagation and accumulation of pathologically phosphorylated tau protein in the brain. They include Alzheimer's disease (AD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), and Pick's disease (PiD).
