Mutual Suppression of Mn3O4 and SiOx in an Innovative Anode Design for Enhanced Cycling Stability We designed the SiOx@C/Mn3O4 composite material with ultrafine particle size using a simple sol-gel method and calcination process. SiOx and Mn3O4 during the charge/discharge process can produce a mutual suppression effect to matigate volume expansion and maintain the long-term stability of two active materials.

3. Results 3.1. The Characteristics of the Winter RSCEs in Northeast China 3.1.1. Climatic CharacteristicsTable 1 presents the occurrence dates and durations of the winter RSCEs in Northeast China during the period from 1980 to 2021. The RSCEs mostly last for 3 to 6 days, with a maximum being 9 days and a minimum being 2 days. There are more years of RSCEs in Northeast China than in all of Northern China [44], with little difference in the duration range of individual RSCE processes.

Highlights • MLL1 expression in Tregs is required to maintain immune self-tolerance • MLL1 deficiency causes defects in Treg activation and functional specialization • MLL1 regulates the expression of key regulators in Tregs by modulating H3K4 trimethylation • MLL1 is a critical epigenetic regulator for developing a stable Th1-Treg lineage Summary The activation and specialization of regulatory T cells (Tregs) are crucial for maintaining immune self-tolerance; however, the regulation of these...

AbstractConcerns exist that widespread use of antiseptic or disinfectant biocides could contribute to the emergence and spread of multidrug-resistant bacteria. To investigate this, we performed transposon-directed insertion-site sequencing (TraDIS) on the multidrug-resistant pathogen, Acinetobacter baumannii, exposed to a panel of ten structurally diverse and clinically relevant biocides.
