Give thanks not just during Thanksgiving, but every day of your life, appreciate and never forget to observe and celebrate Thanksgiving every day. There is a lot to be said with that statement because we are all blessed in one way or another, which brings me to the focus of our Valley Voices column this week. I find it an honor and a privilege when I am asked to write, but this one is special because it’s the holiday season and what better time to talk about blessings and thankfulness?

This article highlights a few items that may otherwise be missed but are worthwhile to take the time to check. First, either the address or the department name may have changed on some banks' Summary of Consumer Rights on adverse action notices. The mandatory compliance date was March 20, 2024.

Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer travel, and as many Idaho families head out on one last road trip, they'll need to plan on paying more at the pump. According to AAA, today's average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the Gem State is $4.15 per gallon, which is three cents more than a week ago and 24 cents more than a month ago. Meanwhile, the national average currently sits at $3.82, which is three cents less than a week ago and seven cents more than a month ago.
