On June 6, Prime Video canceled "Étoile," the Amy Sherman-Palladino/Daniel Palladino cross-Atlantic ballet dramedy. The news came through on a Friday afternoon, so you could be forgiven for having missed the update, especially given the general pace of news in this country right now. It was somewhat surprising — the streamer had initially signed on for two seasons of the show, so that added to the mild sense of the rug being pulled out from under people who liked it.
