Caidee failed to return to her home in the 17000 block of N Drive N after leaving school at Marshall Middle School on Friday, May 9.

The Michigan Department of Transportation and Lakeland Asphalt Corp. will begin resurfacing the I-94 Business Loop (East Michigan Avenue) between the Amtrak rail and Wattles Road in Battle Creek on Monday, May 12. The $953,000 investment involves asphalt milling and resurfacing, sidewalk ramp upgrades and pavement markings, according to MDOT. The project is expected to be completed Aug. 29. The work will improve safety and the ride quality for motorists and extend the life of the roadway.
