If you’ve spent 15 minutes on TikTok lately, you’ve probably come across teens raving about beauty brands like Bubble, Touchland and Glow Recipe. When I began writing for Big Picture Big Sound over 15 years ago, I was pretty up-front about my passion for scary movies. The look was inspired by Pamela Anderson and it was right on trend. After that phase ended, I didn’t think about lip liner for 25 years.

Gotta love Boston in the winter: my walk to South Station this a.m. yielded half a dozen runners in leggings/fleece vests/standard winter gear and one dude getting his morning coffee in a hoodie & big shorts 😆
