    The delivery of thousands of new social homes is facing delay due to Government approval and funding issues, according to social housing organisations. Projected deliveries have been revised down by more than 3,000 homes across the next three years, according to figures released to Prime Time by the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH), the representative group for Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs).

    The parents of twin girls who both underwent surgery to correct a hip condition have spoken of their unease after receiving a pair of letters informing them that a clinical review is under way into the type of operation carried out on their daughters. Emily and Kevin Flynn's daughters Isabelle and Olivia were three years old when they had surgery in February 2023 to treat developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), a condition that affects how the hip joint forms in young children.

    Irish woman Cliona Ward, who had been detained in a United States immigration facility, has been released, her lawyer has confirmed. Ms Ward was released from the Tacoma Detention Centre in Washington State last night, a few hours after a judge accepted an application to terminate the immigration proceedings, attorney Erin Hall told RTÉ's Prime Time. "You Guys.... CLIONA IS FREE," Ms Ward's sister, Orla Holladay, wrote in an update on a Gofundme fundraising page.

The plan sets out a university-wide roadmap to integrate sustainability into all areas of life at MTU. Management at MTU says they intend to integrate environmentally responsible practices into education, research, and campus operations to create long-lasting changes.
