Three Aston Villa supporters have been arrested in connection with hate crime offences following their Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain. West Midlands Police (WMP) confirmed that two men were arrested on suspicion of racist chanting and one for an alleged racially aggravated public order offence. Separately, another Villa fan was arrested on suspicion of assault while three PSG supporters were arrested, one on suspicion of assaulting a steward and two for affray.

Neymar's 100th match at Santos' Vila Belmiro home did not go to plan after he sustained a left thigh injury and had to be withdrawn in the first half of their 2-0 win over Atletico Mineiro. The 33-year-old was visibly upset after suffering the problem and when leaving the pitch on a cart. He appeared to feel a muscle in his leg before going down and receiving treatment from Santos' medical team, and was later cheered off the field by the home crowd.

Ruben Amorim has confirmed Andre Onana will return to the Manchester United team for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final second leg with Lyon. Onana was not included in the United squad which lost 4-1 at Newcastle United on Sunday, with head coach Amorim explaining that "it is a good time to disconnect". The Cameroon international had faced criticism over both goals conceded in the first leg against Lyon, though was only credited with one 'error leading to a goal', according to Opta.

Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago will compete in a men's football tournament in London later this year. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed on Wednesday that the four nations will play in the Unity Cup in late May, following the conclusion of the domestic European season. The two Caribbean sides will compete in the first semi-final on Tuesday, May 27 with the two west African teams playing each other a day later.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha says he "need(s) to take the step" and challenge for major honours. Cunha, 25, signed a new contract at Wolves in February which runs until June 2029 and contains a release clause. That new deal, adding two years to his existing terms at Wolves, rewarded Cunha with a significant wage rise after an impressive 18 months at Molineux.
