    A "major emergency medical response" had to be deployed after Hamburg's promotion to the Bundesliga was confirmed following their 6-1 home win over Ulm on Saturday. Thousands of fans rushed onto the pitch at the full-time whistle, resulting in injuries to several, the Hamburg Fire Department confirmed in a statement. The Hamburg Fire Department said 25 people had been taken to local hospitals, five with minor injuries, 19 with serious injuries and one with life-threatening injuries.

    Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah has confirmed he will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this season. Tah, 29, last signed a contract extension in September 2021, adding two years onto his terms which were due to run until 2023. Tah's future has been the subject of discussion as his contract runs down. Bayern Munich have previously held interest in the Germany international but did not move for him last summer due to Leverkusen's €30million (£25.7m; $34.1m) asking price.

Kane then sat out Bayern training before the return leg against Celtic at the Allianz Arena and head coach Vincent Kompany said a decision would be made on the day of the game.
