CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team is set to play Czechia here today (Dec. 9) at Bell Aliant Centre in its second preliminary round game of the 2024 Para Hockey Cup.
Puck drop is set for 11 a.m. local time/10 a.m. ET, and the game will stream live here.
Team USA skated to a 10-1 win yesterday (Dec. 8) in the opening contest of the tournament against China to move to 1-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in the preliminary round.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team had seven different players score in a 10-1 victory over China in the opening preliminary round contest of the 2024 Para Hockey Cup at the Bell Aliant Centre.
“I thought it was a really good start to the tournament,” said David Hoff (Bottineau, N.D.), head coach of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team.

Puck drop is set for 12 p.m. local time/11 a.m. ET, and the game will stream live here.
The four-team event also includes Canada and Czechia. The teams will face each other in the preliminary round with the semifinal round set for Dec. 13 and championship and third-place games on Dec. 14.

WETASKIWIN, Alberta – A pair of goals from Will Zellers (Maple Grove, Minn.) in the opening period lifted the U.S. Junior Select Team to a 4-0 victory over Canada West in a pre-tournament contact prior to the 2024 World Junior A Championship. Reid Daavettila (Howell, Mich.) and Ryker Lee (Wilmette, Ill.) also added goals in the U.S. win at Co-Op Place on Saturday.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will compete in the 2024 Para Hockey Cup, from Dec. 8-14 at Bell Aliant Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Team USA will open preliminary round play Sunday (Dec. 8) against China. Puck drop is set for 12 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET).
All preliminary round contests, as well as the semifinals, will stream live here. The championship and third-place games will be broadcast live on TSN.

As they prepare for the 2024 World Junior A Challenge — which takes place Dec. 9-15 in Camrose, Alberta — the U.S. Junior Select Team once again has its sights set on a championship.
After finishing third in the 2023 tournament, the Americans will be seeking their 10th championship since the inaugural event in 2006. The U.S. has reached the podium 15 consecutive times and last won it in 2022.
The Americans open with a preliminary round game Dec. 9 against Canada East at Encana Arena at 5 p.m. ET.

The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team is hoping to build off its early season momentum at the Para Hockey Cup.
The Americans captured the IPH Cup in October, but defenseman David Eustace said he and his teammates are still stinging from their runner-up finish to Canada at the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championship in May.
The U.S. will have another opportunity to take home a trophy at the 2024 Para Hockey Cup, which takes place Dec. 8-14 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced tonight its 23-player U.S. Men’s National Team roster that will compete in the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off, Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston.
The group includes 15 forwards, seven defenseman and three goaltenders and features three Stanley Cup champions; four NHL captains and 10 alternate captains; and 22 players who have previously represented the U.S. in top international competition with a combined 47 medals, including 20 gold.

Matt Cullen, Brianna Decker, Frederic McLaughlin, Kevin Stevens and the 2002 Paralympic Sled Hockey Team will make up the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024, USA Hockey announced Thursday.
“From gold medals on the Olympic and Paralympic stage to Stanley Cup championships, this class has impacted our sport in extraordinary ways that will continue to be felt for generations to come,” said Pat Kelleher, the executive director of USA Hockey.
