GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) -- Young's Jersey Dairy is working with local foodbanks to support hunger relief. In response to egg shortages and rising prices, Young's will use plastic eggs instead of hardboiled eggs for its 42nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt, turning the change into an opportunity to give back. The cost savings from this switch will allow Young's to donate proceeds to both the Foodbank Inc in Dayton and to the Second Harvest Food Bank in Springfield.

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) -- Several roads in Greene County will be closed on Friday as an electric transformer is transported to the AES substation site in Xenia. The 595,000 pound super load will be escorted by law enforcement from the Fairborn Railroad site, on the routes included in this map. The Greene County Engineer's Office says the road closures will start at 9:20 a.m. Friday. The load will take six to eight hours to reach it's destination.
