The family of a young man killed by a speeding drunk driver have paid tribute to the 'loveable rogue' and say they will have to live with a 'life sentence' as his killer could be free after just five years. Elliot Lemm, 20, was a front-seat passenger when he was killed in a crash in Horbury, near Wakefield, in 2021 after 19-yaer-old Chelsea Standage careered down a 30mph speed limit road at more than 70mph while over the drink drive limit.

A young man was given a devastating diagnosis after putting down their weight loss to work related stress. Keeslee Lanfear saw doctors multiple times over a two month period before being given then Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma diagnosis in May this year. The 22-year-old started having symptoms of stomach and back pain in March this year, leading to a visit to the GP. Keeslee had been experiencing weight loss months before this however.

A deadline set by Google for those with inactive accounts is looming with users urged to use it or lose it. Over the weekend Google sent out a number of messages warning millions of its users about what could happen to inactive Google accounts, including Gmail or Google Photos, the Mirror reports. "We are updating the inactivity period for a Google Account to two years across all of our products and services," the message reads.

A leisure company has been ordered to pay out more than £3m after a toddler tragically drowned in one of their pools. Three-year-old Rocco Wright drowned in the David Lloyd Moortown fitness centre pool in Leeds in April 2018, the company admitted liability over the toddler's death. An inquest previously heard that Rocco had been in the pool for around five minutes before his father desperately dived in to try and save him. They regularly went to the pool on Saturday morning's for swimming lessons.

A man who suffered from anxiety and depression after the loss of his mother was found dead after a night out with his partner, an inquest heard. A coroner said he could not be sure if Anthony Rodden, who lived in Wigan, Greater Manchester, intended to end his own life after he was found hanged in February of this year. Described as "loved, talented, eccentric and flamboyant", the 30-year-old suffered from low moods and struggled after his mother's death in 2020, Bolton Coroners' Court was told.
