Agnico Eagle’s Macassa mine has come out on top in the 2024 provincial Ontario Mine Rescue competition, which took place from June 4 to 7 at an arena in Thunder Bay. Eight teams participated in this year’s competition, tackling challenges that tested out mine rescue volunteers’ emergency response skills.
