Direct Relief has announced $7 million in grants from its Fund for Health Equity. The fund is supported by previous gifts from MacKenzie Scott, the AbbVie Foundation, and Eli Lilly and Company. Since its launch in 2021, the fund has received more than $50 million to support 160 organizations across the United States. This year, grants were awarded to 38 organizations across the United States.

With school holidays fast approaching, Virgin Australia has slashed the price of hundreds of thousands of flights as part of a 48-hour sale. The prices of both domestic and international flights from January 10 through to September 12 next year have dropped significantly, with some under $50. Travellers seeking flights from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast will only have to cough up $69 and $79 respectively.
