    PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man was injured after a stabbing on Victory Boulevard Monday afternoon. According to police, officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Victory Boulevard around 4:40 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to the scene and found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. The victim was then transferred to a local hospital to be treated. Police said a suspect is currently in custody, but provided no additional details on the incident.

According to police, 30-year-old David Anderson was arrested on Monday, June 2, for the homicide of 28-year-old Imani Parrish. Anderson was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the incident. On April 30, just before 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Antrim Drive for reports of an unresponsive person.
