(WKBW) — Amherst police are investigating an "incident" at Sweet Home High School involving "a student and a teacher aide," a spokesperson for the Sweet Home School District confirmed to 7 News Thursday.     TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Members of UAW Local 774 were celebrating the news that GM said it would invest $888 million in the Town of Tonawanda propulsion plant. "It is very good news," said Jeanne LoHouse, a team leader on the heavy-duty block department. "It's definitely a great win here in Tonawanda," said union local president Teddy Maldonado. "Very happy that our members are gonna have work for the future," said Stacie McKernan, an assembly worker at the plant.

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A crime scene unit was back at 2419 Orleans Avenue in Niagara Falls on Tuesday. 62-year-old Richard Fox, the suspect in the Chautauqua Rails to Trails murders, used to live at the home. Back in March, police found the near-skeletal remains of an unidentified woman boarded up under the basement stairs at the Orleans Avenue home. In May, Niagara Falls police announced Fox was a "person of interest" in connection with the unidentified woman.

(WKBW) — Calls between dispatch and police and firefighters following a stabbing Sunday night at the Walden Galleria show an increasingly tense scene. “Cars to the Galleria…be advised, fire just reported that this male has a stab wound on his back," a dispatcher can be heard saying shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a recording of dispatch calls by Broadcastify.com.
