Wisconsin politicians are speaking out after two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses were shot in an act of suspected political violence. After a nearly two day long manhunt, 57-year-old Vance Boelter was taken into custody Sunday. Investigators say he killed democratic former house speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Saturday morning. He's also accused of shooting democratic senator John Hoffman and his wife. They both remain in the hospital Monday.

The immigrant lacking permanent legal status who was falsely accused of threatening President Donald Trump's life has been granted bond by an immigration judge. Ramon Morales-Reyes, 54, who lives in Milwaukee and was arrested in May, was accused of writing a letter threatening the president's life. Milwaukee County prosecutors have since identified another man, Demetric Scott, as the actual writer.
