When she walked upstairs, she saw complete devastation. The tornado destroyed everything in her home. Days later she delivered a newborn baby boy.

LOUIS — Just days after the tornado hit on May 16th, Fox 2’s Mandy Murphey and Glenn Zimmerman met with Ladonna Warren Berryhill at her home on Farlin in North St. Louis. The tornado had torn off the roof, ripped off the second floor and pushed her car into the house. Murphey checked back in with Ladonna a month later.

The tornado completely removed the roof of his home. Despite the devastation, Thomas is currently staying in a hotel, with expenses covered by his insurance company. Thomas said he’s thankful he has insurance on his home.

A month later, we returned to find a much worse situation. Johnson had a tarp put on her roof, but large amounts of rain had leaked onto the ceilings and floors of her home.
