Now they'll start their quest for a 2025 national title on their respective home fields. The Marlins and Captains will both host NCAA Regional action this week, with each welcoming three teams to the 757. The regionals will run from Thursday through Saturday and be double-elimination format.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (WTKR)- After dipping its toe into the water, girls wrestling is getting the full VHSL treatment. The Virginia High School League voted to fully sanction girls wrestling as an official varsity sport in the commonwealth this week beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. The activity will have its own team state tournaments next winter. "It's great, especially for the ones who are going to come after me," said Tallwood junior wrestler Tatiana Denig.

NORFOLK, VA (WTKR)- The Admirals are making their second consecutive ECHL playoff appearance, but things haven't always been smooth sailing for the franchise. Just three years ago, Norfolk stumbled to the worst record in the league and one Admirals' player has been with the team through both the ups and downs of recent years. Defenseman Carson Musser was signed out of the University of Long Island in March of 2022.
