    Cecilia Medrano passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born in Los Angeles on Nov. 22, 1927 to Elena Rojas Beltran and Santiago Garcia Ornelas. From the age of 4 until her passing, she called Santa Barbara home. Cecilia (Cis) was introduced to her husband Jenaro (Naro) by his three match-making sisters-in-law with whom she forged strong bonds. Cis and Naro raised four children always promoting the importance of family.
