The Old Spanish Days Board of Directors announced on Monday that the rodeo was officially not happening this year due to financial constraints and an inability to work out a deal with Earl Warren Showgrounds. They first announced the end of the event in early April, but had hoped to keep the annual event alive, even in another form.
