ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Police and homicide detectives are trying to determine if the an adult man who died after being hit by a car was also shot. Police responded for a shooting Downtown and 15th and Washington this (Sunday) morning before 1:30. Police say that shots were fired, but it's still not known if that was the victim's cause of death. And Homicide detectives are investigating a triple shooting that left an adult man dead, another critically injured, and a female in stable condition.

ST. CHARLES - (KMOX) - Saint Charles County Police are investigating a Saturday evening fatal pedestrian accident at Dingledine Road and Stonecroft Drive. 26-year old Stacy Youngers died at the scene. The vehicle involved in the accident was a Cottleville Fire Protection District staff vehicle. The driver of that car remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Last week's committee of a whole meeting yielded few answers and left many more unanswered questions. So the Council Ethics Committee subpoenaed eleven witnesses.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The clock is ticking on applying for a senior citizen property tax freeze in St. Louis County. Councilman Dennis Hancock says the one problem he is hearing about, people confusing their assessments they have been receiving. Hancock says seniors will see a credit on their tax bill that is for the difference between what their previous tax bills have been and what it could be if the property was taxed at the full assessed value.
