WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Police in Wichita are investigating after a person was shot in the leg Thursday night. Officers were called to a business in the 2800 block of S. Hydraulic St. around 7:45 p.m. for a report of the shooting. Lt. Lee Eisenbise with the Wichita Police Department said an 18-year-old employee was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) - Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station officials say the lockdown has been lifted following a hostage situation Friday. Officers with the Goose Creek Police Department received a call from the Naval Weapon Station for a report of a hostage situation with a man who had a gun in a home on Knutson Street, Capt. James Emerson said. Officers set a perimeter around the house and learned that the man was inside the home with a one-month-old infant.
