    A 20-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition Wednesday evening after being injured while operating a motorcycle. New Castle County Paramedics and members of the Hockessin Fire Company arrived to the intersection of Limestone Road and Mendenhall Road at about 5:45 p.m. A motorcycle and a sedan collided. The man was being treated for a head injury and possible internal injuries. Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the collision.

    Dover Police are investigating a shooting on the east edge of the city. At about 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, police learned of a shooting on Stevenson Drive off White Oak Road. A 23-year-old man who had been standing outside was struck in the lower body and was taken to a hospital. Police are still searching for a suspect or suspects in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dover Police at 302-736-7130 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.

    Camden Police are apparently no longer interested in being part of an agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to have their local officers enforce federal immigration laws during their norm al course of work. The Kent County community showed up on the ICE website as having a pending 287(g) agreement with the federal enforcement agency.
