The clock at the tippy-top of the school has been welcoming students for nearly 80 years. “I remember that clock being here from the time I entered East,” recalled Vickie Tillman, past president of the East Nashville High Alumni Association. Even before she knew its importance, Tillman always admired the impressive clock.

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Recent studies are revealing hours of screen time for young children can harm their development. The warnings have some parents choosing to pivot and change their lifestyle. One Lebanon family went cold turkey on screen time. “I actually helped my dad build this,” said 9-year-old Emerson Chodl as he showed News 2 around his family farm. The Chodl boys, Emerson and Fritz, are proud of their family farm. “It’s really cool when you can see the chicken having an egg,” said Emerson.
