Thursday morning is expected to remain mostly dry around Southern California but forecasters warn that thunderstorms could produce heavy downpours later in the day. “Could be starting as early as afternoon. By 12 o’clock, we could see some of that rain moving in,” said KTLA’s Mark Kriski. A low-pressure system currently over Nevada is bringing in unstable weather, with activity mostly focused over northern Ventura County and Los Angeles County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
