On Thursday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer joined commissioners at We Print, a local business that has become a creative hub for young talent through the program. During the event, Dyer worked alongside Jamarion King, who designed and created custom clothing.

PALM BAY, Fla. - The future of a troubled neighborhood known as "The Compound" is back on the table as the city of Palm Bay is discussing a new proposal for the area. During a Thursday meeting, council members will hear details about "The Compound Redevelopment Action Plan."According to the city, the five-phase project seeks to build a business and industrial park, generate private investment and create jobs. The Compound is a 2,321-acre area in the southwestern part of Palm Bay.

ORLANDO, Fla. - A 26-year-old man accused of attacking a jogger near College Park was in court Tuesday where his attorney asked a judge to set bond. Tyler Feight was arrested April 10 on charges of battery and attempted sexual battery. According to Orlando police, Feight approached the victim and struck her in the upper body, causing her to fall to the ground. As Feight attempted to further overpower her, the victim resisted by screaming and kicking, successfully causing him to run away.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is threatening to remove Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer from office if the city continues a policy that prohibits employees or police from asking a law-abiding person about their immigration status. In a letter addressed to Dyer on Monday, Uthmeier called Orlando's "Trust Act Policy" unlawful and warned the mayor about consequences if it continues. "Sanctuary policies are not tolerated or lawful in Florida," Uthmeier wrote.
