Food retailers have seen a "massive" increase in pensioner shoplifters over the last year, a security firm has said. A judge has ordered Rebekah Vardy to pay Coleen Rooney at least £1.4 million in legal costs after their high-profile “Wagatha Christie” libel battle. The two celebrities have been in dispute over costs since Vardy unsuccessfully sued Rooney, wife of the former footballer Wayne Rooney, in 2022.
