The USF Cougars blasted St. Cloud 10-2 and Augustana rallied in the 8th inning to beat MN-Crookston 4-2. USF-St. CloudThe University of Sioux Falls Baseball Team (30-26) advanced in the NSIC Tournament with a commanding 10-2 victory over St. Cloud State (26-25) on Wednesday afternoon at Ronken Field.

AMES, IA (Dakota News Now) -Former Lincoln standout JT Rock jumped into the transfer portal after 2 years at Iowa State. Rock actually left high school a year early to get imnto the program in Ames sooner under TJ Otzelberger. He still has 3 years of eligibility remaining and joins a program in New Mexico that went to the NCAA Tournament this year. And The Pit is a great place to play. It’s where the SDSU men played their first NCAA Tournament game against Baylor.

HARTFORD, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The West Central Trojans jumped on top of Lincoln Tuesday night in HS Softball in a game played on their home field in Hartford. Miley Travis blasted a solo HR and the T’s built a 6-3 lead before the Patriots rallied in the 4th inning. Paige Stensaas hit a tape-measure home run to start the rally. Avery Dorman later singled in the same frame to tie the game at 6.

HARRISBURG, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Lincoln boys tennis team has dominated the sport for a long time. But the Harrisburg Tigers made a big statement earlier this spring with a 9-0 win over the Patriots. Only SF Christian had scored points off them before today. In the first match of the day the Tigers beat Mitchell 8-1 and followed that up with a 9-0 win over Roosevelt. The Kernels became just the 2nd team all season to score against Harrisburg in a 7-2 Tigers win.
