    To the Editor:I have a question for both the Newcastle City Council members as well as the Weston County commissioners, do you get paid for meetings you miss? The cost to the taxpayers is noticeable, especially referring to the county commissioners. The insurance alone is substantial for the county commissioners, not to mention the pay. Times are very difficult in America for many communities as well as residents. Very few ‘jobs’ pay you for time missed.
