Kingsland Road, Holyhead is closed between Tyn Pwll Road and Arthur Street due to a road traffic collision. It will be closed "for at least one hour", police said, and the force advised people to use other routes.

12 1/1 CROWDS gathered to celebrate VE Day in Buckley yesterday (May 10). VE Day marks the end of the Second World War in Europe and the surrender of Nazi Germany, which was announced on May 8, 1945. People came together to mark the occasion with a host of activities. Lord Barry Jones, from Flintshire, opened the event, which saw the Royal Buckley band perform and 'Sir Roger Blighty' doing a fly past.
