HAMPTON, Va. — Starting as early as Monday, a traffic shift will impact drivers heading east on Interstate 64 near Hampton Roads Center Parkway. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) said one eastbound lane will close near the interchange, reducing interstate traffic to three lanes. Traffic will also shift over to the right toward the outside of the road, as the lane set to close is on the inside. A westbound traffic shift in the same area has been delayed until later this year.

NORFOLK, Va. — The $6 million Campostella Bridge rehabilitation project is in its final phases. Construction restarted Tuesday, after a hiatus during winter. During phase three, which is set to last for roughly four months, one southbound lane is currently open, along with two northbound lanes. During phase four, which the city says will last for a month, medians will be reinstalled on the bridge. A double inside lane closure is expected during that time.
