A driver who was drinking a can of Stella while driving on the M25 has received a suspended prison sentence. Lee Hilton, 36, was arrested at the A3 Southbound Wisley service station on Friday, 29 November, and charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis. Dash cam footage captures the van being driven erratically by Hilton on the M25, between junctions 11 (Addlestone) and 10 (Wisley). Road safety experts praised the driver for being vigilant and reporting to emergency services.

Transport for London Commissioner Andy Lord has apologised for ‘the dreadful incident and impact to the environment’ due to diesel spill at bus depot. The TfL boss made the apology on behalf of the authority and the bus operator whilst giving an update to Transport Committee on Thursday Feb 27.

Anti-terror barriers are to be removed from the Royal Mile at Lawnmarket, Edinburgh tonight (27-02-2025). The barriers have been in situ since 2017 in response to vehicle attacks on London Bridge, Westminster and New Orleans. As part of the Lawnmarket road improvements project, new retractable bollards will be installed in phase four which is expected to be completed between May and July this year.

Footage has been released showing diesel leaking from a fuel tank at Thornton Heath bus garage in South London. Damning evidence obtained by SWD Media, shows the leak at the Arriva run garage which is allegedly responsible for the spill of 4,000 litres that entered the drainage system and later dumped into the River Waddle. The clip shows fuel spraying out the rear of the tank and rapidly flowing down the road towards rain water drainage on Whitehall Road.

Damning evidence obtained by SWD Media, shows the extensive leak at the Arriva run Thornton Heath garage which ironically received a £4 million investment to turn their fleet green by UK Power Networks. A storage tank leak is responsible for the spill of 4,000 litres that entered the drainage system and later dumped into the River Waddle.
