JACKSONVILLE, Fl. (WLOS) — With just one day until kickoff for the 79th TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, Clemson and Kentucky were busy building excitement with pep rallies and press conferences on Thursday, Dec. 28. It was a big question day as everything was almost finalized for the game Friday and players were chosen by coaches to represent their teams one last time.

JACKSONVILLE, Fl. (WLOS) — With just two days until kickoff for the 79th TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, Kentucky and Clemson each held practice in Jacksonville, Florida, on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023. The Wildcats got going first around noon with a few standouts, including sophomore wide receiver Dane Key, who had over 500 yards and five touchdowns this year. Quarterback Devin Leary was with N.C. State a year ago and will play against an ACC team again this Friday with the Clemson Tigers.
Western Carolina's women's soccer coach secures 200th career win in 14 years at helm

CULLOWHEE, N.C. (WLOS) — It has been 14 seasons wearing purple for Western Carolina University Women's Soccer Coach Chad Miller. Last week, Sept. 14, was a career marker for the coach in Cullowhee as he nabbed his 200th career win when the Catamounts shut out Presbyterian College 4-0. "I'm so very fortunate to be doing it as long as I have, and I just feel blessed to work with young people," Miller said.
