(WJBF) – Tuesday on NewsChannel 6 at Noon, Mary Morrison interviewed country music singer Cody Webb. Webb will headline the All Star Music Festival in Ehrhardt South Carolina this Saturday. He will officially start the festival at 3:00 with the National Anthem. Webb hails from Ridge Spring, South Carolina. The festival will feature Webb as the Headliner, local singer David Cooler, local singer Coley Williams and his band with local singer Jason Lee Cook.

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – Augusta’s Saint Patrick’s Day parade is less than a week away. It will soon be time to don your green and line the streets of downtown Augusta to celebrate everything Irish. This year, the parade is on March 17th at 2:00 pm. The route will leave the James Brown Arena Parking lot, travel up 7th Street, turn left on Greene Street, Right on 11th Street, right on Broad Street, and end at 6th Street. (WJBF) – ‘Run for Ryan’ – how you can lace up your shoes to help local students earn school scholarships. Ryan Clark’s life was just getting started when a gunman opened fire on the campus of Virginia Tech in April 2007 where he was a student. 32 people died that day, including Ryan. 27 students and five faculty members. Today, Ryan is remembered as a hero for his actions that day. His mom founded a Scholarship in her son’s honor.

One person is dead after an early morning shooting at the Waffle House on the Gordon Highway. Male suspect believed to be driving a Kia Sportage.
