    11 1/1 PEOPLE IN Worcester have come together to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day with commemorative events, services and street parties. The day began with a flag being raised in Cathedral Square. Armed forces veterans and dignitaries gathered in the square to listen to speeches and pay their respects. Throughout the day, there were other events and exhibitions in the city centre, including a street party-themed performance by pupils from Tudor Grange Academy.
