    An active shooter alarm was triggered at Fort Cavazos by mistake following an incident at the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area at the post, according to KCEN-TV, the NBC affiliate in Temple. Federal police with the Fort Cavazos DES Law Enforcement Division were investigating the incident, for which no details were released, and posted a warning on their Facebook page.
