TELLY explorer Levison Wood has revealed how his biggest adventure was turning Scotland into Afghanistan. The former British Army Major with the Parachute Regiment spent four years serving in the war-torn region before carving out a new career with his popular Walking With series on Channel 4. But Levison is now working behind the camera as a film director, shooting his first short film called The Burn where Scotland doubled for Helmand Province.

THE first hour of our stay at Copenhagen’s 25hours Hotel Indre By was spent hunting for a bottle of bubbles. Let me explain, we had entered this stunning hotel in the centre of the Danish capital to be met by two lifesize Pterodactyls “flying” in the atrium above the welcome bar. We then walked past the love room, with its comfy couches and a roaring open fire, opposite the vinyl studio where you can spin just about every album we had grown up listening to during the 80s.
