COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – Dustin Poirier typically has but one gear when he's in the cage, and that's forward. And after nearly two decades fighting, he seems to be taking a similar approach to his retirement. Poirier, a former UFC interim lightweight champion, has made it clear his next fight will be his last. While an opponent and location have not been announced, it's widely expected that Poirier will headline a UFC summer return to New Orleans in his home state of Louisiana.

Nickal (7-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) meets former two-division ONE Championship titleholder Reinier de Ridder (19-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in the UFC on ESPN 67 co-main event in Des Moines on May 3.

MIAMI – Michal Oleksiejczuk met the media Saturday after his win over Sedriques Dumas at UFC 314. Oleksiejczuk (20-9 MMA, 8-7 UFC) put Dumas (10-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) away with a first-round TKO, but Dumas protested the finish just past the halfway mark of the opening round, even though it didn't seem to be a particularly questionable stoppage given the amount of time he was on top punching.
