Nickaiya Walker was emotional as the autopsy results for her daughter, Ky’meria German, came back Wednesday. ”My baby didn’t deserve that. She was a sweet baby. She was sweet. She was a sweet baby. Why would you harm an innocent baby? She didn’t mean no harm at all," she said.

(WCTV) - A failed fish farm remains one of the first things many visitors to one of Leon County’s parks see while attending a baseball tournament, using the St. Marks Trail or shooting hoops. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A developer plans to restart a long-stalled project in the heart of downtown Tallahassee, despite a lawsuit. The failed Washington Square project has left Tallahassee with an eyesore since the start of the pandemic, with work stalled for at least five years. What was supposed to be a 19-story hotel with amenities has remained partially constructed since. This week, WCTV learned that Leon County officials gave developer Ken McDermott two options.

(WCTV) - Recent immigration raids here in Tallahassee have slowed some construction projects, with an industry expert saying these types of raids are having more drastic impacts than in the past. Nearly a week ago, more than 100 people were detained Thursday morning after an immigration raid took place at a construction site on Gaines Street, according to the Homeland Security Investigations Tampa.
