A 2.0 magnitude earthquake was reported in New Durham in April.In January, a 3.8 magnitude earthquake was felt across New Hampshire.

    The latest drought monitor map shows that the Granite State is no longer in a drought or seeing abnormally dry conditions. The May 22 update from the U.S. Drought Monitor showed there were no areas of New Hampshire experiencing abnormally dry or drought conditions. So far in May, Manchester has seen 9.25 inches of rain, Concord has seen 7.50 inches and Laconia has seen 5.63 inches.
