Feldman, then the Boston University women’s soccer coach, was sitting at her desk in BU’s athletic complex on Babcock Street, Cooper said, and assistant coach Casey Brown was in a chair in front of it. Cooper, a sophomore midfielder, was across the room on a couch, getting over a case of mononucleosis. She was one of several players on the team who had been infected.
