Pelotonia hosted an open house Wednesday at its new office inside the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center on Ohio State’s campus, next to the Pelotonia Research Center, to celebrate the launch of registration day. In addition to ride weekend in August, Pelotonia announced a new Trail Run/Hike as part of the Gravel Day experience in October.

Adam Coy’s defense council filed a motion for a new trial, which was heard Monday in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, after they said the prosecution withheld key evidence they believe would have, not only changed their approach during trial, but changed the outcome of the trial itself and exonerating their client.

The Ohio AAA Blue Jackets will face off against the best teams from across the globe in the Quebec International Pee-wee Hockey Tournament. The competition is considered to be the most prestigious youth hockey tournament in the world. “We want to win. We’re going up there to win,” the team’s Will Bechtol emphasized.

NEW ALBANY, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead and five others are injured after a shooting at a cosmetics warehouse in Ohio on Tuesday night. The shooting happened at the KDC/One building in New Albany at around 10:20 p.m., authorities said. KDC/One’s website indicates that the company produces cosmetics, toiletries, cleaning products and insecticides. The suspect, Bruce Reginald Foster III, was an employee at the facility, the New Albany police confirmed.
Grove City man pardoned in Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection remains in prison

LANCASTER, Ohio (WCMH) – A Grove City man who was pardoned for his alleged role in the January 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol building remains in a Fairfield County prison. According to the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Benjamin Shuler will not be released from Lancaster’s Southeastern Correctional Institution while serving a five-year sentence in the death of Olivia Wright, who was killed in a drunk-driving crash near Ashville on September 29, 2020.
Snow plow drivers hoping to reverse course on dangerous crash trend

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — With Monday’s winter storm now in the rearview mirror, officials from the Ohio Department of Transportation are reflecting on the first significant snow fall in more than two years. After a relatively safe 2024, the division said it is hoping a new campaign will help shift a growing and dangerous trend into reverse. So far this winter, 16 ODOT snow plows have been struck by Ohio drivers, including one crash that happened Sunday on State Route 35 in Ross County.
