According to Oghenesivbe, Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the Senate, has misrepresented the PDP at the national level, become disconnected from the party in the state, and fears he may not secure the PDP ticket for the 2027 election.

Nwoko officially left the PDP on Friday, submitting a resignation letter to his Ward 8 Chairman.
