A teachers union official has filed a federal lawsuit against the Clark County School District and several others, alleging she was wrongfully arrested at a board meeting. The lawsuit from Kristan Nigro was filed in the U.S. District Court for Nevada on Friday, April 11, and names CCSD, the district's police department, Police Chief Mike Blackeye and trustee Evelyn Garcia Morales as defendants.

The wife of a "Ghost Adventures" cast member accused of plotting to have him murdered has agreed to plead guilty to a conspiracy charge. A guilty plea agreement was filed with Clark County District Court on Monday for Victoria Goodwin, 32, records show. Under the agreement, Goodwin says she will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder and will face a sentence of two to 10 years in prison. Prosecutors will not make any recommendation at sentencing.
