LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Ashton Jeanty is officially a Raider. The sixth-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft put pen to paper for his rookie contract on Thursday, the team announced. Jeanty's four-year contract is fully guaranteed for $35.9 million, with a fifth-year option for the 2029 season. His average annual salary of almost $9 million makes him the 11th-highest paid running back in the NFL, according to figures from OverTheCap.com.

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The man accused of firing multiple rounds at a construction site in northwest Las Vegas was fired from the firm after getting into a fight a week before and threatening other workers, according to an arrest report. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested John Garcia, 46, on multiple counts of attempted murder and assault for the May 2 shooting in the area of Deer Springs Way and Bradley Road.

Seattle released him on Tuesday following their rookie minicamp this past weekend.
