The St. John's men's basketball team is going dancing and is a No. 2 seed in the 2025 NCAA tournament. It was a strong year for St. John's, which finished with a 30-4 overall record and an 18-2 mark in Big East play with the only losses coming against Villanova and Creighton, both on the road by a total of three points. While all eyes are on the injury status of Duke star freshman Cooper Flagg, the potential No. 1 NBA draft pick earned more accolades on Tuesday. The latter just missed out and lost the Mountain West Conference title game. The Tar Heels' inclusion did not go over well with fans, especially with other résumés that appeared worthy, such as West Virginia and Indiana.

West Virginia missing out angered a lot of people, including West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey, who plans to take legal action. Another interesting point is regarding Auburn, who earned the top overall seed in the tournament.
