(WENY) -- The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a scam involving a Millerton man who was tricked into providing $18,000 in gift cards to unknown individuals over four weeks. According to authorities from the Mansfield Patrol Unit, the 57-year-old victim was contacted by suspects via WhatsApp. The suspects told the victim the victim he had won a large prize and then requested payment in the form of gift cards.
