FRESNO, Calif. — A battery storage facility planned for the west side of Fresno County is now on the fast track. Governor Newsom announced on Wednesday, he's cut the red tape on the project that's planned for a 2,000-acre piece of land, near State Route 33. The private farmland is between Coalinga and Avenal and about four miles southeast of Interstate 5.

FRESNO, Calif. — A former Fresno man who moved to northern California to create a new religious organization is now facing sexual assault charges. FOX26 News learned Monday that some of those accusers are from Fresno. 56-year-old Sansue Bee Vang was already facing multiple sexual assault charges in Butte County. He is still being held without bail. Butte County's District Attorney Mike Ramsey said the four new victims from the Fresno-area came forward just a few months ago.
