Morby is a senior in high school, half homeschooled and half online and through Layton High School. He was shocked when the school told him the bad news.

PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — Owners of Splash Summit Water Park in Provo want to relocate their water park to a different Provo location on a 130-acre space of city-owned land near the base of Slate Canyon. They are also hoping to build a resort, retail space, parking, and other park amenities in the area. However, residents are not completely sold on the idea. “Where we are is so beautiful and to think of the natural beauty taken away from is scary,” Provo resident Quinton Parrish told ABC4.com.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Dogs were found abandoned in central Utah and now they are being cared for. Inside The Best Friends Animal Society, four dogs, each around six months old, are safe and sound after campers at the San Rafael Swell in Emery County told police they found several dogs without owners. “Ultimately they believe about 13 dogs were running around in the desert,” Patrick Theobald, community program manager for Best Friends Animal Society said.
