But body camera footage obtained by FOX 8 shows some New Orleans police officers falling short - and still keeping their jobs. On Dec. 20, 2021, NOPD officers discovered a man passed out behind the wheel of his running vehicle on Decatur Street in the French Quarter. The man was unresponsive, had vomited, and was parked on the sidewalk. As their body cameras rolled, they called EMS to tend to him.

When 13-year-old Zander Ferris steps off the school bus, it’s straight into the arms of his parents. They say Zander was diagnosed with blindness as a baby.
